News - East Coast Today, a free community newspaper - launched by Community Windpower Ltd......
East Coast Today is a new initiative from Community Windpower Ltd with the aim of providing information on activities that have been happening in the local area and a promotional space for local groups and charities to raise awareness of their work and activities in the Community.
The community newspaper is aimed at the local community and will be delivered free to 12,500 homes and businesses across East Lothian and the Border (Dunbar, East Linton, Haddington, Gifford, Cockburnspath, Edrom and Duns) on a twice yearly basis, by the Royal Mail
The 12 page paper will be full of local information, news, photographs, activities, services and letters. The content of the paper is varied featuring local community, BeGreen and Community Windpower News.
Our first issue, which is “hot off the press”, features articles on: BeGreen and Community Windpower’s community benefits and activities; East Coast Community radio; fair-trade; shopping local; John Muir celebrations; wild life a sports section along with other community news.
We plan to publish a second issue in the autumn 2014.
