News - Dunbar Dementia Carers Support Group...
We are pleased to have the Dunbar Dementia Carers Support Group using our window space over the next few weeks. This is to promote the amazing work they do here in Dunbar and also to promote Dementia Action Week on 16th-22nd May.
Anouska Woods, BeGreen Community Co-ordinator is delighted to have the group back in the office, "We have helped the Carers group before, especially before covid and it's so nice to welcome so many of the members back. Lorna, who runs the group is a super star and always has so many activities lined up every week and you can see the support between everyone is just phenomenal. Having worked in care and the NHS and looking after people and families affected by dementia during covid a support group like this is invaluable. We are looking forward to having the members in the BeGreen office in the middle of May for an afternoon tea! Pictures to follow!"
