News - RNLI - Dunbar Lifeboat Day - £500...
Community Windpower have supported the local branch of the RNLI for a number of years now. This year they were delighted to have donated £500 towards the annual fete.
The Dunbar Lifeboat Day is one of the biggest fundraisers in the calendar and this year was no different after raising over £10,000!! What a fantastic achievement.
Anouska, BeGreen Community Co-ordinator, "The Dunbar lifeboat day is always a huge day and everyone gets very excited about it. Especially in our house as my husband is part of the crew! It's a great day for everyone and there is always massive support. It's just a fantastic charity to be able to help out. There was so much to do throughout the day but I was helping behind the bar so didn't get to see all of what was on offer. I was delighted to be able to do a cheque presentation with the lifeboat Queen, Jodie and her Dad Gary Fairbairn, who is the lifeboat coxswain. Very much a family affair!!"
Everyone at Community Windpower and BeGreen wold like to congratulate everyone involved with the day and raising such a fantastic amount of money. Keep up the amazing work!!
